How to order your costume
Your teacher will have a list of costume requirements for you - this will give you an Idea of what your class will be wearing for the choreographies you will be performing.
If you decide to have a costume made make an appointment to discuss your needs - Initial costume consult will be R300, this includes design sketch, measurements etc.
Please bring:
Your Bra (a NEW hard cup underwired, smooth cup bra - I cannot work with soft cup bra's at all. Please bring a bra that is 1 size larger than you usually wear. Please check that there is sufficient coverage on the cups as any extra additions to the bra in order to make it fit will be charged for)
Fabrics to your first appointment where you will be measured for your costume, a design will be chosen and cost will be decided upon and signed off. You are welcome to bring along pictures of costumes you like to show me your ideas - but I will not copy the work of other designers.
Once you have paid your deposit I will begin your costume. Expected date of completion will depend on where you are on my to do list and how intricate your design is.
Once I have received your deposit it is understood that you have read and agreed to all the points listed here and my terms and conditions.
You will be required to come for a fitting or 2 - Changes regarding fit must be discussed at this time as no changes will be done after the costume is complete. Changes to design will be charged for accordingly.
Once the costume is complete you will pay any moneys that are outstanding and arrange a time to collect your costume. At this last fitting we will check that all is in order and the costume is complete. Report any loose beads or fit adjustments within 7 days of collection.
